While running a very successful business I remember catching myself so many times in my off 'work hours', just picking up my phone quickly to check an email, or just quickly checking in on my social media post or replying to a staff member. I was not being present in the moment at home with my daughter. Yes, we were in the same room, but the quality of time was not there. Running a business can be hard which is why your downtime and family time is important. Your Health is important. If you don't look after yourself, how can you be a business owner, a boss, a leader, a parent, a friend? You just can’t, you are number one! Look after you first and the rest will follow.
